About HabitHelm
Why HabitHelm exists and what it helps active people do today.
Mission
HabitHelm exists to reduce planning friction for people who care about training, nutrition, and consistency. The goal is simple: fewer dashboards, clearer next steps.
What HabitHelm does today
- Provides food search and product detail workflows backed by OpenFoodFacts.
- Supports a day-based diary flow with portion-aware entries.
- Includes recipe creation and logging workflows.
- Connects Strava and Withings for activity and body-metric context.
- Calculates BMR and TDEE snapshots with transparent assumptions.
Who HabitHelm is for
HabitHelm is built for active people who like tracking but want practical guidance:
- cyclists, runners, and mixed-sport athletes
- strength and general-fitness users
- busy professionals who still want structure
Product principles
- Practical over perfect: focus on actions you can do today.
- Privacy-first defaults: scoped access and explicit auth checks.
- Mobile-first UX: fast flows that work on small screens.
Current stage
HabitHelm is in an active build phase. Core workflows are already available, while broader exports, billing tiers, and additional integrations are being expanded.
